Hey, I’m Heather- a dietitian, runner, triathlete, wife, and overall health enthusiast. While I love all things health & fitness, I don’t let it get in the way of my life- it’s part of my life. I love trying new foods at restaurants, traveling & exploring new places, and sitting on the deck with a cold beer or glass of wine. Hand me a good book, and I’ll have it finished before bed. Tell me I can’t do something and I’ll find a way to prove you wrong.
About The Health Hoot
Lasts year I took a giant flying leap towards achieving a dream- starting my own nutrition counseling company. I love working with people on their nutrition and diet goals- there’s nothing more satisfying than having someone tell you they were able to eliminate their stomach problems or lose the last 5 pounds without giving up their favorite food- but I realized there was a lot more about health that people wanted to know besides nutrition.
Enter The Health Hoot- a place all things health, wellness, and fitness. The internet is overflowing with information about health, and it can be hard to sort through what’s good advice and what’s not. The Health Hoot provides a source of reliable information in a relatable approach, along with stories of personal health achievement and adventures in trying!
